Hi all,

here is a question for the real gurus (taken from comp.os.chorus, but
the use of Chorus is totally irrelevant here):

[ This isn't true, I used a wrong isconv with this test, but the problem still
  remains ...]

Maybe someone from Inmos should follow up to this posting. I no longer have the
relevant information in front of me. The problem is that the iserver protocol
socket requests need to go through the `link' without the aserver wrapper so
that they can be intercepted by the B300. I know that quite a bit of work was
done on this at the time of the aserver protocol's invention, and the design
was made so that such requests could take place. What I don't remember was
exactly how this system worked - was it necessary for the aserver gateway to
only have a single connection to the transputer process? If so, then you're
right, this scheme will not work. If not, then it is still possible to do
what you wanted.

OK, are any of the designers/implementors of Aserver reading this group ?
Is there any body else outthere that could be of assistance ?

You can answer me by E-mail at geensr@sebb.bel.alcatel.be.
I will summarize to the net if there is any interest.
