Hello,

I think there is nothing to worry about, the various icc.exe, icconf.exe
etc. files under DOS are just copies of the iserver.exe (make a comp and
they should be identical:-). This is because iserver checks its command
line and tries (if not started as 'iserver') to boot a .btl file with
the same name. So I think simply copying the related .btl files to Linux
and setting the related environment variables plus making an alias to
call the 'Linux iserver' (or whatever you have) to boot the appropriate
.btl file should work (at least it's worth a trial). Meaning: if you
have an iserver compatible program running on the host the programs that
do not use msdos related extensions should work on Linux as well.

Hope this helps,

		Steffen Seeger.

PS: I am going to set up a similar thing, so I would be interested in
knowing your exieriences about running transputers with Linux.
