Help!

Has anyone ever got two transputers on a transtech MCP1000 board to talk to each other ?
We have two such boards in an old sun 3 (vme bus), each board has four T8 transputers, each with 2MB of ram. On each board the T's are hard wired in a chain via links 1 and 2. Links 0 and 3 are free to be connected as desired (this is controled by a cross bar switch using the nt_ctl software).

I am trying to write a distributed data management system for a graphics application using the "INMOS IMS D700D transputer development system" and "transtech devices 1989 server 2.1.2". However I cant get any of the transputers to pass data to each other from the tds (also the tds network testerprogram says there is only ever one T in the system). I know that the chips are there and that they are connected physically (the nt_what utility says as much and the tds can be run on any of the chips, but only ev

er on one at a time).

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Please mail me : shotton@compsci.bristol.ac.uk
Thanks.
