There are drivers for B004-compatible boards for Linux and FreeBSD
(we just completed the latter). Don't know what the Quinteck Fast9
board is like, but I suspect that most boards are compatible with
the B004.

About performance, this is what I get on a 486-33 under FreeBSD:

cal00# check
Using ??? check 3.0.01.01
   # Part rate Mb Bt [ Link0 Link1 Link2 Link3 ]
   0 T400b-20 0.53 0 [ HOST ... ... ... ]

The board currently uses C code instead of assembler in the driver,
so there is hope for improvements.

Does anybody have performance data under Unix (e.g. check outputs) ?
