The university of southampton in U.K. developed a portable Occam compilation
system that runs on SUN4 system under UNIX. It has a built in scheduling
mechanism(scheduler software) and therefore can run applications directly
without any hardware support as with transputer.

It is available in PD at unix.hensa.ac.uk. If you have standard ftp
you should be able to login as 'anonymous' and find all the files
in '/pub/parallel/occam/compilers/spoc'.

If you require additional information please let me know.
