Try the undocumented feature of the iserver (and probably the most important
feature of all): -sz (or /sz on a PC). This gives you full information on
whatever the iserver is doing on the link. All packages are covered. Don't
panic, there's a lot of info coming to your screen ! Best to redirect the
output to a logfile. Then figure out why the program doesn't work anymore,
and what the iserver means with its "." There can be a lot of meaning in 
a dot, as you will see.

P.S.	You are lucky to get some extra info after the dot. My most telling
	error message was:

	iserver - ERROR - Failed to boot transputer because:
	.

	Isn't transputer life wonderful ?!
