IMS-F003D should have include files (video.inc for OCCAM and video.h for C)
that have CVC parameters for resolutions other than the `favourite' Hitachi.
I vaguely recall that the example code uses the 1024x768 parameters. You aren't
alone in asking for these parameters and the F003D release included additional
CVC parameters for the other popular resolutions. Your local INMOS field support
should be able to help out - the PAL format question has been asked before. Another
source of G300 parameters is the SGS-Thomson Graphics Data Book and there are a
couple of application notes that specifically describe the CVC setup needed for VGA,
PAL etc. Some of this depends on your Graphics TRAM however, if you have a TRAM
with an IMS-G332 on it you're probably ok. Seems to me that the IMS-B419 Graphics
TRAM had trouble with PAL because of its IMS-G300 controller, but I'm probably
wrong (graphics controller parameters not being my favourite topic!)

Bob.

BTW, INMOS doesn't have the resources to test F003D with _all_ the monitors
possible. But the test plan does exercise the code with those that were available.
The idea of the `caned' VTG numbers was supposed to be extended by feeding back
parameters created by customers. If this hasn't happened, software development and
the field support organsiation haven't been working with each other enough. This
last part all IMHO of course!
