Folks,

I have been asked to update the ftest transputer functional test
software, that runs on the back of check/ispy.

The present code is based on the at-probe functional test software for
transputers, and was kindly supplied to me for this purpose.

However, since it uses microcode entry points rather heavily, it is VERY
transputer revision-specific, and a poor candidate for updating. As a
consequence, it will not run on any recent transputer chips.

I am looking for some more general-purpose code. Once upon a time I had
the "PARANOIA" floating point test suite, in occam, from Roger Shepherd,
I think. This would be ideal for the floating point test. Does anyone
have a copy of this ?

I would also be interested in any code around that tests the limits of
the integer Arithmetic Logic Unit, and branching. Even C code would be
helpful. Error, under/overflow conditions, carry-propagation, that sort
of thing.

I would like source, preferably occam, so that the code may be paged a
section at a time into the transputer internal RAM. This would mean
that the code would require no other system resources.

Should anyone wish to provide assistance, in the form of code
development or otherwise, it would not be refused. Acknowledgements
would be made.

Many thanks,

Cheers, Andy.
