                           CALL FOR PAPERS

1994 Transputer Research And Applications Conference
Sponsored by North American Transputer Users Group
                          October 23-25, 1994

The 1994 Transputer Research And Applications Conference (7th in the
series) will be held in Athens, Georgia (USA), on October 23 through 25.
The first day is reserved for tutorial sessions.

Contributions are being solicited in the areas of hardware, software, and
applications of processors that may be used as basic building blocks for
multicomputer systems such as SGS-INMOS T9000, T8xx, T4xx, the Texas
Instruments C40, the DEC Alpha AXP, and the Intel i860 and iWarp. Topics
of interest include all aspects of the following:

                      parallelism as a concept (models),
                      parallel algorithms,
                      parallel machine architectures,
                      interconnection networks,
                      software tools,
                      operating systems for multiprocessors,
                      mapping algorithms into multiprocessors,
                      scalable systems (algorithms and hardware),
                      scalability of crossbar switches, and
                      applications (such as: numerical, imaging,
                          vision, GIS, ...).

Presentations will be allotted 20 minutes each, with ample additional
time for questions. Additional papers may be presented at poster sessions
if there is sufficient interest. All accepted papers will appear in a
published proceedings.

Abstracts of 1000 - 1500 words must be received by May 16, 1994.
Notices of acceptance will be sent out by June 15, 1994 and final
drafts of accepted papers will be due by July 15, 1994. Authors
should indicate on the abstract whether they would be willing to present
the paper in a poster session.

Please include mail address, electronic mail address, telephone
and FAX numbers of the presenter.

Abstracts should be submitted to (email submissions in ASCII or PostScript
forms are preferred):
