What about using a program which emulates a PC on your UNIX workstation ?
That should do the job too. The compiler should not depend on anything
which such an emulator can not mimic. And your compiler should run with
the full speed of your UNIX workstation. If you were using a Linux machine
you could try DosEMU.
On SCO if I recall correctly there was DOSMerge or VP/Ix.. I guess 
your SCO distributor has other products on stock as well...

Hey, oh. btw... if you're working for Specialix... let me guess... you're
developing code for a transputer based multi-port serial adapter ??
