   I do not think so. I recently observed this on a T400.
   It does not seem to happen every time.

Well I've seen the problem on T800s (it's been over 2 years since I
noticed it).  The "problem/feature" was observed on a small network
(<10) of T8s running under the control of TDS2 on a PC -- I thought
that after some digging I found the "feature" of erros in
high-priority processes documented.
