                              FINAL REMINDER

                                 WTC '94

CALL FOR PAPERS AND TUTORIAL PROPOSALS

Villa Erba, Cernobbio, Lake Como, Italy

                         5 - 7 September, 1994

You are reminded that the Call for Papers Deadline is Tuesday 1st March
1994. If you are planning to submit a paper but have problems with this
deadline, we can accept papers up to Tuesday 15 March provided you
advise us by 1 March and inform us of the paper title.

INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS

Four copies of submitted papers (not exceeding 16 pages, single-spaced,
A4 or US 'letter') must reach the Committee member on the contact list
below who is closest to you by 1 March 1994. Authors will be notified
of acceptance by 24 May 1994. Camera-ready copy must be delivered by 23
June 1994, to ensure inclusion in the proceedings.

A submitted paper should be a draft version of the final camera-ready
copy. It should contain most of the information, qualitative and
quantitative, that will appear in the final paper - i.e. it should not
be just an extended abstract.

CALL FOR TUTORIALS AND WORKSHOPS

Before the World Transputer Congress 1994, we shall be holding
tutorials on the fundamental principles underlying transputer
technologies, the design paradigms for exploiting them, and workshops
that will focus directly on a range of specialist themes (e.g.
real-time issues, formal methods, AI, image processing ..). The
tutorials will be held on 3 - 4 September 1994 in the Villa Erba
itself.

We welcome suggestions from the community of particular themes that
should be chosen for these tutorials and workshops. In particular, we
welcome proposals from any group that wishes to run such a tutorial or
workshop. A submission should outline the aims and objectives of the
tutorial, give details of the proposed programme, anticipated numbers
of participants attending (minimum and maximum) and equipment (if any)
needed for support. Please submit your suggestions or proposals to one
of the Committee members listed below by 1 March 1994.
