The version of Minix on ftp.inmos.co.uk is a small demo version of a
port of Minix to the Transputer which I have been working on for a
while in my spare time. It wasn't really intended for general release
yet, but as you have found it, feel free to try it out.

I haven't prepared any patches, because I was hoping to use the latest
version of Minix (1.6.25) as my base point. The version available for
ftp is based on 1.5, which is a lot more stable than the current 1.6
port, but isn't having much development work done on it any more.

If you really want, I could try and get some patches together, but you
will need a copy of ST Minix patched upto 1.5.10.4, and an Inmos C
toolset (D4314) to compile it.

True, and the main reason why this hasn't been made available before.
At the moment everything is cross compiled on a Sun using the D4314. A
C compiler port for Transputer Minix is being worked on (by someone
else), which may be made available shortly; watch the news groups for
details!

Finally, please note that this is NOT an Inmos product, it is not
officially supported in any way, and may not even work.
