I am unsure as to the correct group to post in for this so I am guessing
at comp.sys.transputer and uk.misc.

I am looking for details on co-processors boards for IBM PC machines. In
particular I am looking for straight processor boards, and boards designed
as graphics accelerators.

A few years back I remember seeing a set of transputer cards some of which
were processor farms, others with the additional hardware to driver video
monitors. I have also seen adverts for i860 processor cards in Byte.

One important point is that I would need full details on how to program
the card. The PC the card will go in is running Linux, so DOS/Windows based
development tools are no use. However I am happy to program the board
directly providing the relavent information is available.

As you can see from the above I have no definite idea as to exactly what I
am looking for. Any ideas as to where I can start making inquiries would
be very much appreciated.

Regards

Chuck
