Hello everybody,

I'm working on a thesis about scheduling parallel programs on parallel machines.
For my studies I need statistical data about the workload of real parallel
machines (e.g. accounting data).

The data should cover a sufficient period of time to give a typical
and representative sample of machine-operation (e.g. one or more month).
The data could/should be annonymous of course.

The following list describes the kind of information which is
of interest:

Common information:
- On which type of machine did the tasks run (manufacturer, modell,
  no. of processores)?
- Which kind of applications do run on the system?

Information about the specific tasks:
- Was the task started interactively or in batch-mode?
- When was it started? (releasetime, time of submition)
- How long did it run? (executiontime)
- How many processors did it require?
- Which priority does the task (the owner of the task) have?
- Did the user (owner of the task) give an estimation of the execution time?
- Does the tasks processor requirement change during execution?
- If it does: How does it's profile look like?

Any kind of support would be very appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
Markus Schmick
