`Introducing High Performance Computing' is a three day course which will
take place in UCD Computing Services on 30/11/95, 1/2/95 and 12/12/95.
The course is comprised of an overview of HPC, talks by invited speakers
and a one day tutorial covering the use of the data visualization system AVS.

`Introduction to Parallel Virtual Machine' will take place on 14/12/95 and
15/12/95 and will introduce the Parallel Virtual Machine message passing
system which allows programmers to harness a heterogeneous collection of
workstations as a parallel computer.
