I am learning parallel programming and am looking for any DSM tools

Any hints and pointers would be appreciated.

one possibility that might work for you is the C Region Library
(CRL). for more info, point your web browser at the CRL home page
(http://www.pdos.lcs.mit.edu/crl/).
