                Tenure Track Positions in Computer Engineering
                    Concordia University, Montreal, Canada


The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Concordia University 
invites applications for tenure track positions in Computer Engineering at the
Assistant Professor level.  The areas of interest are Software Engineering, 
Protocol Design and Validation, Networking, and VLSI Architectures.  
Applicants specializing in the general area of Computer Engineering will also 
be considered.   Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Electrical/Computer 
Engineering or Computer Science and a strong commitment to excellence in  
research and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  Knowledge of 
French is an asset, though the language of instruction is English.

The Department offers Bachelors programs in Electrical and Computer 
Engineering and Masters and Doctoral Programs in Electrical Engineering. The 
department currently has 27 full-time faculty members.  Faculty research 
interests in Computer Engineering covers VLSI Systems Design, Parallel CAD, 
High Performance Architecture and Computing, Communication  Network/Systems 
and Performance Evaluation, and Robotics and Signal Processing Algorithms.
