Hello,

I read much about the suitability of the relational model for databases with
large volumes of data (Using the shared-nothing architecture). However for
the OO approach, distributing large objects on different nodes is said to be
a big problem and doesn't scale very well !!
My question is: Is this true ? If not then is there any research project that
achieved a massive performance with easy achieved scalability using the OO
approach?

Regards
