				ISAAC95
			  Preliminary Program
Sixth Annual International Symposium on Algorithms and Computation
			     Radisson Hotel
			   Cairns, Australia
			   December 4-6, 1995

Overview

The symposium will provide a forum for researchers working in algorithms
and the theory of computation. Papers presenting original research in
the area of design and analysis of algorithms, computational complexity,
and the theory of computation will be presented.

Symposium Site

ISAAC95 will be held in the Radisson Hotel at the Pier, Pierpoint Road,
Cairns, Australia. The Radisson Hotel has absolute water-frontage on
Trinity Bay, in central Cairns. It is linked to the Marlin Marina and
the main terminal for cruises to the Great Barrier Reef, and is two
minutes walk to the business district of Cairns.

Cairns is a major tourist city of far north Queensland, which is
bordered by mountains to the west, and the world's largest and most
complex expanse of living coral reefs, the Great Barrier Reef, to the
east. While Cairns is Australia's fastest growing tourist destination,
it remains small enough to offer tourists and locals alike a friendly
and relaxed atmosphere. Cairns offers extensive shopping and tourist
attractions.

The average temperature in Cairns in December is 27.5C, 82F. The dress
code in tropical North complements the climate, with a emphasis on
casual dress.

Regular scheduled flights operate between Cairns and South East Asia,
Japan, United Kingdom, Europe, North America and New Zealand, as well as
all major cities in Australia.

printed material, presentation and discussions.

Passports

Participants are advised to check their individual circumstances for
entry into Australia. Citizens of almost every country will need to
arrange a visa through a travel agent or their local Australian
Consulate.

Transport

The Radisson Hotel is 7 kilometers from the airport by taxi. Rental cars
are readily available. Many car rental companies prefer credit card
transactions.

Financial Transactions

The local unit is the Australian Dollar. Most hotels, restaurants and
