CALL FOR PAPERS

Australasian Computer Architecture Workshop (ACAW'96)
======================================================

Melbourne, Australia, 29 - 30 January 1996
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

ACAW is the major annual Australasian workshop on computer architecture.
ACAW'96 is held in conjunction with ACSC'96, ADC'96'96 and CATS'96.
In 1996 ACAW is hosted by Monash University.

Aims and Objectives
+++++++++++++++++++

ACAW'96 follows on from previous workshops held in Hobart, Brisbane and
Adelaide. In those workshops the emphasis was on informal reports outlining
current computer architecture research projects in Australia. The forum
allowed those involved in the field to see what else was happening in the
region and to encourage cooperative research and sharing of resources. A need
was also identified for a more formal conference style forum with fully
refereed papers and published proceedings. To this end ACAW'96 invites
original research papers which will be refereed and appear in the published
proceedings, as well as more informal reports on current computer
architecture research. ACAW'96 will contain sessions for research group
reports as well as for formal research papers.

Papers
++++++

Original papers in all areas of computer architecture research are invited.
Papers describing implemented systems and novel applications are particularly
welcomed. All papers will be refereed and accepted papers will be published
in the Workshop Proceedings.

Reports on Australasian computer architecture research projects are also
invited. They should be in the same format and will be included in a section
of the proceedings but will not go through the full rigorous reviewing process.
See "http://www.cs.mu.oz.au/conferences96/files.html" for details of
submission formatting, including access to MS Word and LaTeX/BibTeX style
files suitable for use in final paper submission.
