                      Research Scientist Position
  
The Army Center of Excellence in Information Sciences at Clark Atlanta 
University invites applications for a Research Scientist (Post-Doc) 
position. Applicants are sought in the general area of computer networks/
data communications. Specialties may include network algorithms and 
protocols, high speed networks, network based parallel computing, 
multimedia communication, wireless/mobile communication, etc.  
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in the relevant field and should have 
strong interest in research and development.

The Department of Computer and Information Sciences has 20 faculty members 
and over 400 students. It has experienced rapid growth in recent years. 
We have excellent teaching and research facilities include a large, 
new building, IBM SP1 multiprocessor, SUN SPARCstations, SGI 
workstations and multiprocessor, DEC workstations, and microcomputers.  
The Army Center of Excellence in Information Sciences sponsored by the 
Army Research Office.  Other major awards include an NSF research 
infrastructure award and several Georgia Research Alliance awards for 
high-performance telecommunication infrastructure.
