What you want is a think called 'spoc', produced by the University of
Southampton, UK. Available by anonymous ftp from unix.hensa.ac.uk and
src.doc.ic.ac.uk amongst other places. Also, Michael Poole (ex of Inmos)
has produced a 386 native code compiler (running in real mode). I do
not have contact details for him -- but I know it exists. Addresses
anybody?
