Parallel/HPC Systems Administrator

The London Parallel Applications Centre (LPAC) invites applications to fill 
the post of Systems Administrator to manage and maintain a large and diverse 
suite of High Performance Systems, including Web and FTP services.  

This post offers a rare opportunity to gain extensive working knowledge of 
parallel and commercial systems.  Applicants should have a good honours degree 
in a maths or science related subject or, ideally, a computer-related post-
graduate qualification.  In addition, applicants should have an in-depth 
knowledge of Unix and C/C++, good interpersonal communications skills and be 
presentable.  LPAC offers a dynamic, commercially-oriented environment with 
good long-term career opportunities.

Initial salary will be in the range #16,451 - #18,762 pa inclusive
depending on experience.
