Digital Equipment Corporation has added a new set of pages to its WWW
server, targeted specifically for the high performance and technical
computing community. These pages can be accessed directly at

or from the InfoCenters selection on Digital's home page
(http://www.digital.com)

In April, Digital announced the AlphaServer 8000 series 300 MHz servers, and
the latest version of its AlphaServer 2100 line, the 5/275. These machines
are the ultimate servers for technical computing, provide leadership
performance, and enable the world's first 64-bit in-memory database.

Digital also offers 64-bit UNIX clustering, with open, reliable, high-speed
interconnects (both memory- and I/O-based); tools for optimizing parallel
applications; parallel compilers; and optimized parallel libraries.

Detailed information about these products and Digital's leadership in high
performance and technical computing is now available on our web server. And
while you're looking, check out the internet contest we'll be sponsoring in
conjunction with Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center!
