This Workshop is to provide the international computer graphics community
with a platform for
    ! assessing and reviewing the impact of the development of High
        Performance Computing (HPC) on the progress of Computer Graphics
        and Visualisation (CG&V);
    ! presenting the current use of HPC architecture and software tools
        in CG&V, and the development of parallel graphics algorithms;
    ! identifying potential HPC applications in CG&V, and encouraging
        members of the graphics community to think about their problems
        from the perspective of parallelism.

The programme of the Workshop includes five KEYNOTE LECTURES focusing on
the latest development of HPC and its use in CG&V. The speakers, from the
Computer Graphics and the Parallel Computation communities respectively,
all have a well-established research record and posses unquestionable
expertise and authority in the fields.

The sixteen refereed PAPERS to be presented in the Workshop cover a
comprehensive collection of subjects and represent the latest thinking in
areas of HPC for CG&V.

The ADVANCED TUTORIAL given by the Computer Graphics Unit at Manchester is
essential to anyone who wants to work in areas of CG&V, parallel and
distributed computation and HPC applications.

Last but not least, SWANSEA, an ideal holiday and short breaks destination
at any time, will no doubt offer you the warmest welcome.
