Postdoctoral Position in Theoretical Biophysics

The Theoretical Biophysics Group at the Beckman Institute of the
University of Illinois is looking for an outstanding postdoctoral
associate, starting Summer or Fall of 1995. The candidates must
receive their Ph.D. before the beginning of the appointment.

The group conducts an active research program in molecular biophysics
and structural biology developing and employing sophisticated
computational methods. The group's researchers have backgrounds in
molecular biophysics, chemistry, physics and computer science. We seek
individuals with additional competence and interest in areas of
computer science. Accordingly, priority will be given to younger
scientists with interest and experience in some of the following
areas: molecular biology, chemical physics, statistical mechanics,
protein folding, computational physics.

Applications must include a CV, one-page statement of research goals,
and the names and addresses of three references. The closing date for
applications is June 1, 1995.
