If you are interested in learning about (or teaching)
SIMD architectures, there is a simulator available, along
with a set of tutorials that describe how to use it.
The simulator is a C program that will compile on
just about any C compiler, and simulates the Blitzen
machine (a superset of the Goodyear MPP).

The tutorials are available in http://www.iftech.com. They
contain instructions for downloading the simulator package
from its ftp site.
