I haven't seen much reference to the C* language in this newsgroup. C* is the
data parallel version of C developed by TMC.
I'm interested in the parallel programming communities views (preferably
backed by experience :-) on C* and more generally the programming paradigms
supported by the language such as scans, pointer jumping, etc. as a general
approach to implementing parallelism.
Has anyone used the language in teaching data parallel programming
concepts?
I would also be interested in views on CM-Fortran, the data parallel
Fortran language also developed by TMC.
