What are the issues involved if some of my PVM slaves are 64 bit (e.g.
DEC Alpha)?

Assuming the integers I generate on the 64 bit box actually fit into a
32 bit integer, what do I have to worry about when receiving on a 32 bit
host? I RTFM, but it doesn't seem to talk much about word size.

I assume(!?) that endian issues are handled...
