                          Post-Doc Position
                  Laboratory of Applied Mathematics
                     City University of New York

The Laboratory of Applied Mathematics of CUNY and Mt. Sinai Medical
School (an equal opportunity employer) is involved in research on
turbulence, mixing, analysis of satellite data, biological imaging,
medical imaging, biophysical modeling and related activities.

We seek two researchers to join the group at the post-doc level with a
background in large scale computing (e.g. on problems in mechanics).
Experience with super-computers and parallel machines, as well as unix
based workstations is desirable. The research effort of the
laboratory is, in part, focused on modeling and simulating biological
and physiological systems; candidates, therefore, should posses broad
interests and be willing to participate in diverse scientific
projects. Salary to be determined.

Interested parties should email a brief statement on background and
interests to postdoc@camelot.mssm.edu
