I have been using dynamically linked against "libpvm3" PVM programs for a
few weeks now. No problems were encountered. The platform was Linux (ELF)
on a PC and the PVM version -- 3.3.11. The programs were run in a
heterogenous environment including Sun-Solaris-2.5, HP-HPUX-9.05 and
PC-Linux (the two other versions were linked statically). What's the
matter with these global variables?
