Hi,

I am trying to run the shared memory version of pvm (SUNMP) on a
shared-memory multiprocessor Sun SparcStation 20 with two HyperSparc
processors under Solaris 2.5.

I am trying to test this version of the pvm with the examples included in
it (master/slave, spmd, ...). Whenever I use more than 4 or 5 processes I
get the following message repeated:

peer-coon() shmat to txxxxx: Too many open files

Does anybody know how to fix this, or some reference to information on
how to fix this.

Any help will be welcome

Thanks in advance

Jose M. Badia
