I'm soliciting help in understanding the following warning
message:

ld.so: warning: /usr/lib/libc.so.1.8 has older revision than
expected 9.

I'm running PVM3.3 on a network of Sparcs with SunOS 4.2.

I'm using xpvm 1.1.1 as the interface.

Checking the libc yields the following:

ll /usr/lib/libc.s*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root staff 7996 Oct 14 1994
/usr/lib/libc.sa.1.9
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root staff 524288 Oct 14 1994
/usr/lib/libc.so.1.9*

Other than the warning message everything seems to run fine.

My questions:
1. What does this warning message mean?
2. What should I do about it?

I appreciate all help. Thanks.
