The problem is with the system running AIX 4.1.  I have the same problem,
as do others.  I don't know why there is a problem, and I looked into the
PVM code at one time to try and fix it, but there wasn't anything obvious.
I simply start the PVM system from a non-AIX 4.1 machine, but I know that
some people won't have this option.
