Hi.

I am the first to admit that your work is important
and very useful. I also feel that a clarification
of my original posting seems to be necessary.

1. I did not complain about the performance of
WPVM, that is, once the machines have been added to
the PVM. I thought it was clear that I was running
my applications under WPVM (since nothing else was
available for Windows), and that the performance I
was getting from my applications was finally
acceptable (i.e., by comparison with running the
same applications on single machines).

2. I stand by my comments about "cries for help",
"mystical incantations", etc. If the language was
strong, so were the problems that so many people
seemed to encounter when trying to get their
machines connected through WPVM. I haven't yet
tried the new version of WPVM, but I sure hope that
those problems are gone. By the way, a simple
WPVM Connection FAQ from you would have made life
bearable for lots of people.

3. The graphical interface was really nice.
However, I couldn't figure out a way of getting
from it all the information that the standard PVM
console commands provide. This is what I meant by
"non-standard".

4. As for "support", I do realize that your time
and resources are limited. However, this is the
first time that I get a reply from you, although I
sent lots of messages both directly to you and
through this newsgroup. A FAQ or two would have
been more than adequate support under the
circumstances, not to mention that it would have
reassured us that you're still around.

Well, enough of this. I'll say again that your work
is important and of great use to the rest of us. I
am looking forward to trying the new version of
WPVM, and many more to come.

Thanks,
Tudor.
