As it turns out, those of us who use Microsoft Visual C++ CANNOT link
the libraries provided with WPVM (PVM for Windows), which were compiled
with Borland C++. It sounds pretty stupid, but that's the Microsoft way
(according to Borland tech support, Borland C++ lets you link
libraries compiled with MSVC).

I tried to let the WPVM folks in Coimbra know about this, but I've had
no response yet. Considering that lots of people may be interested in
WPVM, I am offering to compile the WPVM libraries with MSVC v. 4.0 and
put them on the Coimbra WPVM server. Is there anybody out there to take
this offer?

Tudor
