You should get my PVMPOV patch to distribute the rendering, at
http://www-mddsp.enel.ucalgary.ca/People/adilger/povray/pvmpov.html,
or via ftp://ftp.povray.org/pub/povray/unofficial/patches/
I have never heard any results from people running this with WinPVM,
but I'd be very interested - whether the results are good or bad.  I
tried to make sure the PVMPOV code was 16-bit clean, but I'm not sure
if this is the case.  Of course, if you really wanted those pentiums
to fly, you could install Linux, and use the official version of PVM 3.3.
