Hello,

In order to get higher performances it is suggested to use the
PvmDataInPlace option to avoid extra and expensive packings. Fine.

Now I need to know when I can reuse the memory allocated for that
purpose, thus I need somehow to know if some send is finished.
I found no way of doing this. One possible fix is to add some synchro
after the sends and receives, but it is not always possible nor
desirable. It should be some kind of pvmfprobe function to deal with sends
instead of receives?

And I would not appreciate an "active" function to test if it is done,
as the pvmfprobe function. Something like "please return when it is okay"
would seems more interesting/efficient to me, maybe based on some signal
from the daemon?

  Any hint/help/pointer/example?

Fabien.
