Hello,

In the environment where I am, all of the "r" thingys have been
disabled (rexec(), rsh, rlogin etc) and so I have resorted to the ever
so tedious task of starting each pvmd manually. I really don't mind
doing this but it doesnt seem to be working. If i run pvmd with
pvm.hosts, we go through the hassle of copying and pasting all of the
commands and responses but then the pvm shell does recognize them. If I
get a list of all of the hosts and pvmds in the pvm shell, I just get
one and thats the machine I'm on. Also the PVM application I'm trying
to run doesnt recognize the other hosts either (Which I guess isnt all
that surprising) If anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong, I would be
very grateful. I feel like I am so close yet so far away.

Thanks
Ian
