I have done so, and you need to have different libraries for each.  This
is why they have different PVM_ARCHes defined for them.

Sorry, I only wish we had MP machines here, so no real info on it.  I
would again guess that the SUNMP machines would be better off using the
MP libraries since they would use shared memory for PVM communications
on the same host, whereas the SUN4SOL2 library would use generic UDP or
TCP communications, which will be slower.
