Hi,

  I have a two DEC ALPHAs, one Sequent Symmetry and one RS6K running
  pvmd. My programs are spawned in all of these four machines and I
  monitor them through the pvm console in one of the DEC ALPHAs.
  However, rcecently these programs do not run. Sometimes the
  processes simply stop and wait. Sometimes processes get
  terminated on their own. Also sometimes the message sent and
  the message received are different. On the pvm console I get
  a message like:

  swap space below 10 percent free
  swap space below 10 percent free
  libpvm [t40001]: pvm_tasks(): Can't contact local daemon
  libpvm [t40001]: pvm_lookup(): Can't contact local daemon
  pvm> libpvm [t40001]: pvm_nrecv(): Can't contact local daemon

  then the pvm console program also gets terminated. I have
  run these programs earlier and they were fine. If anyone
  of you have any suggestion about how to overcome this problem,
  I will really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,

Falguni Sarkar.
