WAMM (Wide Area Metacomputer Manager) is a graphical interface, built on top
of PVM, that helps users in the following tasks:

  - virtual machine configuration and management (host adding, removing, etc.);
  - process management (spawn, kill, etc.);
  - parallel compilation of an application on several remote nodes;
  - execution of UNIX commands on remote hosts.

All functions are accessible through a graphical, user friendly interface.

The package (named wamm10.tar.gz) can be found at:

    ftp.cnr.it:/pub/wamm/

The same directory also contains full English and Italian documentation to
install, configure and use WAMM.

WAMM was developed at CNUCE (an institute of the Italian National Research
Council in Pisa, Italy) by Marcello Formica, Gianluca Faieta, Domenico
Laforenza and Ranieri Baraglia.
