Subject: odd message when halting pvm

I'm using pvm version 3.2.6 on several Solaris machines. When I shut
down the pvm by typing `halt' I get the following message:

libpvm [t40001]: mxfer() EOF on pvmd sock

Is this normal? If so, shouldn't it be changed to something more
informative?

Also, if pvm is halted and then _immediately_ restarted, attempts to add
hosts result in the message

libpvm [t40001]: pvm_addhosts(): Pvmd system error

Typing halt hangs pvm and it needs to be killed with a signal (leaving
lots of /tmp/pvmd* files and zombie daemons around, grrr!)

Thanks for any comments.
