Dear PVM-ers,

Pardon a beginner's question.

After starting pvm fine on twp HP700's, using a hostfile,
I had to kill pvm; I removed pvm files in /tmp, (and even
rebooted), and now I can't restart pvm properly with either
my hostfile or through the console:

barsac_37 >pvm
libpvm [pid230]: /tmp/pvmd.3034: No such file or directory
libpvm [pid230]: Console: Can't start pvmd

Am I missing something obvious? Any help very much appreciated...

(It's been a while since I used pvm, I'm sure quite a few things
slipped me by.)

Yours hopefully,

    Tom
