Hello,

I have a couple of questions about the pvm.

I am working with the pvm 3.3.7 on a Silicon Power Challenge with
6 processors. Currently I am using the ARCH=SGI64, because I had
a lot of problems when I tried to use the SGIMP64 type. I heard
about a beta version of the PVM 3.3.8 that is developing Silicon
and that is very robust and causes less problems.

Could anybody tell me how can I get this version of the pvm?

Anyway, if anybody is using the pvm with a Power Challenge, I would
like to contact with him in order to know about his experience.

My second question is more specific. Is there any way to be sure that
I am spawning one process per processor on a Power Challenge. I am
spawning several processes and I think that, even though there are
free processors, sometimes more than one process is assigned to a
processor. Is there any way to control this situation?

Thank you
