PLEASE HELP!!!
I have been using pvm for awhile, but recently moved my $HOME directory to a
different location. I attempt to run pvm, and can start it on the machine that
I rlogin into. ie:
pvm> conf
1 host, 1 data format
		HOST	DTID	ARCH	SPEED
	     raphael 40000 ALPHA 1000
-------
If I try to:
pvm> add donatello (another ALPHA machine), I get:
0 successful
		HOST	DTID
	   donatello Can't start pvmd
-------
The interesting thing is that if I rlogin to donatello, and type pvm it says:
pvmd already running.
pvm>
-------
Typing
pvm> conf yields:
2 hosts, 1 data format
		HOST	DTID	ARCH	SPEED
	           ? 40000 1000
	   donatello c0000 ALPHA 1000
-------
Other users of pvm in my group have no problems with it and are as baffled as I.
I even set up another user environment and copied my .cshrc and .login files there.
pvm runs fine.

The reason I write here is because upon comparing the two environments log files
in /tmp/pvml.### I found the following in the bad env while pvm still running:
-------
pl_startup() expexted version
-------
If anyone can shed some light, I have been at this for over a week and have
about pulled out all of my hair. (grin)

Thanks,

Bob
