The first  European PVM Users  Group Meeting was held  in 1994, at the
University  of  Rome,  Italy.  The second   European  PVM  Users Group
Meeting will provide an opportunity for  European users of PVM to meet
each other in 1995, share ideas and  experiences, and meet some of the
members of the PVM Team.

The conference will include:

We invite everyone with PVM ideas or  experiences to submit papers for
a possible presentation  at the Users' Group  meeting.  List of topics

   o Algorithms  using  PVM:  Numerical Kernels,  Scheduling  and Load

4    Guidelines
===============


Authors are requested to submit  a 4 to  6 pages paper before June 19,
1995. Papers will be reviewed and authors notified of their acceptance
by July 28. Any special equipment required for the talk should also be
indicated on a separated e-mail.

Papers should    be   sent by  e-mail   to  europvm@lip.ens-lyon.fr in
uuencoded compressed  postscript  form.   Please follow  strictly  the
following  guidelines   in order for your    contribution to enter the
review process (no exception allowed):

   o All submissions must come from a LaTeX source using the following
     styles:
     
     \documentstyle[times,a4]{article}
     \textwidth 120mm
     \textheight 190mm
     \baselineskip 4mm


     and be transcripted in postscript (TM) format using the following
     command:

     dvips <mypaper> -o


   o All submissions must BE SENT BY EMAIL using the following
     commands:

     compress <mypaper>.ps
     uuencode <mypaper>.ps.Z <last name>.<first name>.ps.Z > mypaper.uue
     mail europvm@lip.ens-lyon.fr < mypaper.uue


   o Valid submissions will be acknowledged by email automatically.

5    Registration
=================


The  registration  fee for the  meeting  is 600  FF   (400 FF  for the
students), and includes the reception, lunches  and coffee breaks, the
conference banquet and the proceedings.

If you wish  to attend the tutorial   session, there is  an additional
registration fee of 500FF.

7    Hotel Registration
=======================


Different hotels are located  midtown and within  a short distance  of
the  conference rooms. Be sure  to make  your room reservations before
September 4. Rooms will be held until 5 P.M. of the expected arrival

day, unless guaranteed with an accepted  credit card. Check-in time is
after 1:00 PM and check-out time is noon. Reservation requests must be
made before September 4, 1995.  After this date, reservations will  be
based upon room availability. Cancellations  made after 5 P.M. of  the
check-in day will be billed one night's room.

8    Transportation
===================


The  Lyon  Satolas airport  is  located about   20km south-est  of the
city.   In order    to  reach the  hotels  there    are  the following
alternatives:


  
o shuttle bus to   either     Lyon-Part  Dieu railway    station    or
  Lyon-Perrache railway station and then a taxi to the hotel.

o Taxis directly from the airport.
