I'm trying to get PVM 3.3.7 to run on a DECstation 3100. It compiles
fine, but when I run /pvm3/lib/pvm I get this:

libpvm [pid19907]: /usr/tmp/aaaa19907: Permission denied
libpvm [pid19907]: pvmbeatask() can't creat t-auth file
pvmd already running.
etc...

On my account I don't have write access to /usr/tmp, which probably explains
why this happens. Fixing it has proved difficult. I've run greps,
finds, grepping finds, finding greps, but I simply cannot find where this
/usr/tmp is in the code. If I can just change it to /tmp, it
would probably work.  Any ideas?
