Hello,

I have installed 3.3.7 on a 2 cpu ss10. Have set up all environment
and path variables per instructions in Readmes and redbook. pvm comes
up with angle bracket, responds to commands. I make the examples per
instructions on page 25 of redbook.

When I run master1 I get following dialog:

% master1
How many slave programs (1-32)?
2
Trouble spawning slaves. Aborting. Error codes are:
TID 0 -7
TID 1 -7
%

When I run hello I get:

% hello
i'm t4000b
can't start hello_other
libpvm [t4000b]: pvmendtask() shmctl RMID: Invalid argument

When I run timing I get:

% timing
i'm t4000e
can't initiate slave
libpvm [t4000e]: pvmendtask() shmctl RMID: Invalid argument

Any assistance or pointers on what is going on/how to proceed are
appreciated.

Thank you,

Robert Demb
